LAA
Love Addicts Anonymous

Disclaimer

As a new fellowship, LAA is in a position to experiment a little. Until group conscience dictates otherwise, we are going to be more flexible than other 12-Step programs about three things: (1) our relationship with the professional community, (2) our relationship with other recovery websites, and (3) our inclusion of literature written by people outside of LAA. As specifics become available, they will be posted on this website. We welcome any feedback you have about this. Feel free to contact us. Meanwhile, as LAA grows, things will change—just like our members.

LAA does not strictly follow the traditions. For example, the original members voted to keep the reading lists until we get our own literature. We also have a professional on board to guide us, the co-founder Susan Peabody. When Susan retires this will all change if someone steps forward to manage the message board. If you are a strict follower of the 12-Traditions, you may not be happy with us. If your primary concern is to heal and look forward to a brighter tomorrow, using a spiritual approach (the 12-Steps), join us.
