This is a book-based group which takes it's lead each week from a 10-15 minute reading from various books on love addiction, followed by optional sharing of attendees experience, strength, and hope around the reading or the topics of love addiction and love avoidance.

This is the only 12-step group focused exclusively on love addiction and love avoidance in the Baltimore/Washington area (with the exception of the affiliated monthly Jump-Start meeting at the same location). There are no dues or fees, but the meeting has expenses, and an opportunity for an optional freewill offering is provided by passing a basket.

Jump Start Meeting (first Saturday of the month)

This special two-hour "jump-start" meeting for love addicts and love avoidants is held only on the first Saturday of each month. It provides about an hour and a half program crammed with information about the causes of love addiction and love avoidance, how these conditions work, and how to create a recovery program (featuring a 45 minute video of noted love addiction/love avoidance recovery expert Pia Mellody speaking on the topic). The remainder of the meeting is reserved for sharing.
